Consumer Interest for iPad Still Big

CHICAGO - Apple has sold more than three million iPad tablet computers in just over three months. Predicted, consumer interests against iPad is still large.

Survey conducted by America's Research Group, show if 8.4 percent of total respondents numbering 1,000 people are confirmed already bought iPad. While 6.1 percent said the new plan to buy such devices. "The fact is, approximately 70 percent of respondents admitted to buying iPad. And it is a good sign for Apple," said America's Research Group founder Britt Beemer, as quoted by the Straits Times, Friday (16/07/2010). "It shows if the demand for products iPad is still enormous," Beemer added. iPad itself turned out to have sold more quickly than analysts expected. In June, after sales iPad reach three million units, researchers at the Kaufman Bros., Shaw Wu said he expected the company to sell 9.7 million units in 2010.
